this is in an S-10 in a junk yard

yes it is a 60*V6- Only 2.8's came in the s-10's with the V6's, not 3.1 or 3.4's.

The way you can tell right of the bat is that the passenger side head is more forward than the drivers side head. 90*V6's and V8's the drivers side head is more forward.

ok thanks a lot... if the bottom end is good i can just take the top off my 2.8 and put it together right?

Cam might be slighly different, but the cranks, pistons, block, etc should work.
