Engine Prob. Idle.

Ok heres my prob. Whenever I *try* to start my car, the engine will start up, run for about 2 seconds and then die like its getting no gas. Even if I floor it or just give a lil gas, it will still die. I let the fuel pump engage and I just fixed hose going from a sensor on the upper right valve cover (looking head on) that causes the car not to run at all. (I forget what the sensor is right now). I start the engine, it dies. I go through this cycle about 10 times, untill it runs for just long enough to put it in drive or reverse and go. Once the car has driven for even under a minute it will idle fine. Ive tried adjusting the idle speed which helped. Is it my fuel pump, becuase that's gonna be a pain in the ***. Sorry for the long post, but I'm really frustrated. Going over all those vacume lines and whatnot in the rain is really really annoying.

sounds like IAC.... it's getting gas - just not enough air to keep running.
