I have returned!!!!
Well, I must say it's good to be back!
Work apparently went around and cracked down on Internet usage and TGO got classified as chat so I could no longer get on the boards
This facilitated me having to get my home computer finished so I could get the net at home.
Well I am now writing this from home with an updated profile and all
So what did I miss?

Wow, you missed a lot. AGood2.8 beat a bunch of other guys
in an auto course, TomP finally has his twin-turbo setup running,
Ked85 has been busy as ever, and I won the lottery.
Well, half of the above is true. Welcome back!
RBob.

LOL! TomP's really just stockpiling parts for his front suspension rebuild. Or... he was, a month ago, and hasn't had the chance to buy the rest of the parts. I should probably do that, eh?

Welcome back! I have gotten very little done on our car, I am however scraping the barely noticeable Virginia legal window tint off in order to get some 20% rear 35% sides Georgia stuff put on, in addition to getting the AC leak repaired and a recharge.
BTW, who's gotten banned lately? I haven't been around.

Welcome back.
I don't "think" anyone has gotten banned.
As above, a few people are majorly talking turbos.
As Above, agood did some v8 butt kicking
I have gotten my engine swap done in the truck, took 3rd place at car show.
Also had some over heating problems in camaro, and almost have that worked out.
Ked85 is busy on his 2nd house, fixing it, and getting it ready for inspection and approval.

If it's old, it's outta there.
I have time, I'll do the list... if you do a , you'll find that I've put up messages with the part numbers in them...
1. Front struts (will use KYB)
2. Springs (will use Suspension Techniques v6 lowering)
3. Center Link (Moog)
4. Idler arm (Moog)
5. Inner tie rod ends (moog)
6. Outer tie rod ends (moog)
7. Tie rod sleeves (either moog or Hotchkiss, haven't decided yet)
8. lower ball joints (moog)
9. upper strut mounts (either KYB, Monroe, or GM)
10. lower control arm bushings (Energy Suspension)
11. lower control arm bolts/nuts (won't re-use old)
12. rag joint (between steering shaft & steering box)
13. steering box, using quick ratio box (from WS6 IROC)
14. front rotors
15. front wheel bearings
16. front calipers
17. front brake hoses
I already have Energy Suspension end-links and mounting bushings for the sway bars; I don't need to do those. For the rear suspension:
R1. shocks (ditching 9 year "look" of air shocks for KYB's)
R2. springs (from same kit as above for front suspension)
R3. lower control arm bushings (energy suspension)
R4. panhard rod bushings (energy suspension)
R5. boxing the LCA's and panhard rod myself
The chassis has 249,960 miles on it; the only suspension pieces that have been replaced have been the idler arm, center link, front struts, and rear shocks. The struts are completely shot, bought 'em around 150,000 miles or so... the lower ball joints are showing the wear indicators, and taking corners just isn't fun anymore.
I'm keeping my eye on the odometer for the next 40 miles, that's for sure!
