How much does a 2.8 short block weigh?
180lbs, w/no water pump. Dumped it at Franklin Iron & Metal. Got $5.85. gas money

The scrap heap!
I saved my 1985 MPFI heads, too.
Never know, but they're too inferior to the 3.4 heads to do much work on the old 2.8 heads.

was going to keep my old heads, tell I found a bolt snapped off in one side, and ehaust bolt hole stripped on other side. I junked em.
Kept the crank, cam, pushords, rockers, and guide plates.
