common oil leak spots?

common oil leak spots?

topic says all.
I had a leak at the valve cover, but replaced that with a rubber gasket, and that was stopped.

I can see a small drip point at the plug.
And before you ask, yes it is tight. I even put a dab of RTV on it every time I do an oil change.

I saw normal seepage at front seal... other then that I need to really steam the engine and see new oil spots...

Ayway, any common drip spots?

distributor oring is common to leak on these engines i think. mine has a little pool of oil at the base of the distributor shaft, u need to take the cap off to really see it. look down there i bet you'll find something similare.

Nope, sprayed, looked dry.

Found theleak though.. the freggin drain plug, or somewhere therabouts.

who knows how many have owned the car, and the pan has been slammed... might have delveloped a small crack?
Anyway, gonna et back under it tomarrow with a welder just in case.
