Engine: 350 TPI
Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: 9 Bolt Borg Warner 3.27 gears
Input ot Output???
My '91 3.1 feels anemic on the road. I usually do 1750 rpms at 55, now its more like 2000.Feels like loss of power. Have'nt changed the gas filter in probably 5 YEARS!!!.....that might be it.Or, clogged catalytic converter ( factory one still on ) and/or clogged muffler...AND ONE MORE THING. I want to put on a MSD ignition module.I heard I did'nt have to take out the entire distributor, just the cap.rotor button, and the pickup coil which pulls straight up.If this is correct, let me know.And do I have to mark where everything goes with something like whiteout to put it back together and will I have to set the timing even if I put it together right?HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To remove the pickup coil, you have to remove the distrib from the car.
Now as for the ICM, it comes out with two 5.mm (7/32) screws, then unclips from the pickup coil and your ready to put new one in.
As for your extra 250 rpm at same speed, could be many things. Start replacing everything you know is old and needs replaced anyway.
