Where in the Camaro is the cruise control module located?

I can't find it in any of the pictures in the GM Factory manual.

Thanks
Ryan

If you can't find it in the factory manual, you haven't read the manual enough. But seriously, its underneath the dash just to the right of the stereo/console. If you take the dash off, you can see it from the top. If you take the underside dash panel off on the passenger side, you can see it from the bottom. It's about 3" x 3".

Ok well thats great and all so are you talking about the VSS (vehicle speed sensor buffer) Pg 8A-201-17 Fig. B in the 1992 manual. (may be different in yours, mine shows two connectors going in) If thats not it how about a page number? thanks

So it's to the left of the computer if you're looking at the dash. Yep been in there before when I replace the computer.

Mine's an '86. On mine it's mounted on the backside of the vertical dash face, just to the right of the stereo (on the passenger's side). Sorry, I can't give you a page number because my book is out in my car down the street. Maybe later.

Also, I didn't really understand your post. Did you ask me a question?

Just for the page number if you had it handy, no biggy.

It's probley next to that VSS module where you say it is, but I'll wait before ripping the dash open.

According to Napa parts online the '86 shows a different part number for the unit then on later years so may be different setup.
