Basically anyone who posts just to post.. Like say someone has an opinion on something and posts it, then someone replies saying "I agree" and that's it.. That's post whoring.. Nobody cares that someone agreed, and there was no sense in posting it..

Post whoring could also be referenced to someone who spends some ridiculously large amount of time on the boards and replies to/creates like 200 posts in less than an hour. (That's an exaggeration by the way) But you get the idea.

Yes, that is an exaggeration... you can only get 120 posts in an hour

I prefer WFO over WOT (Wide f'ing open)

Anyone remember RTTA (read the title above) or TTSIA (the title says it all)? Or am I just an old computer geek? They were both used when the title of the message was so obvious and short that there was no need to write anything else. It saved precious bytes on 10 meg (not gig) hard drives...

And yeah, if you remember the sticky from the moderators a few weeks ago, any of those dumb In Before The Lock messages will result in immediate board suspension. That anacronym goes along with the post-whoring idea.

I thought IMHO was in my humble opinion... guess either/or works.
