anyone know about v6 dropzones?

i got a set of dropzone springs and i guess they only make one set for both v6 and v8. this doesnt sound right to me at all due to different spring rates. anyone know? the part number on mine is DZ3100.

Thanks for the info and part number! Apparently we don't know much about the dropzones in here! I just put on the Suspension Techniques springs; part number 60115. Let us know how you like them! Tip... new front spring isolators (between top of spring and car frame) are part number 14047915 for the GM piece (have to be ordered). I paid $10.33 each at the local dealer, I heard gmpartsdirect.com has them for $4 each- but you'll have to wait, and pay shipping.

If you want the energy suspension front isolators, check this message out by ebmiller88: https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/sho...hreadid=138236

Holy cow!! Hey how much did you pay for those? I just found their website, http://www.dropzonesuspension.com/ , and they list for $101??? Man, I paid $160 for those ST springs. Oh well... those DZ's are probably too low for my taste anyway.... I'm having trouble being just an inch lower!

yea i was planning on isolators too. the drop is 1.75 front and 1.5 rear. im thinking its actually going to lift my front end though, lol. it sits so damn low right now. i bottomed out pulling into the quick lube i worked at up at school, my boss said hes never felt an entire building shake like that, lol. im going to put on the springs and KYB shocks and struts, along with ball joints and strut mounts this weekend. next comes spohn panhard bar and LCAs with relocation brackets. hopefully yet this month. and one hell of an alignment.

Be sure to come back and let us know how the relocation brackets work out for you!! I'm thinking of using 'em eventually; I've still gotta box the rear lca's and put poly bushings in 'em.
