Yea so its 5:33 and im sitting here reading up on the 3.1 and engines in general, soaking up as much info as possible. I think i've learned more in the past 5 hours than I ever knew before today!

Anywho, enough of my sleep-depravation-induced ramblings. My problem is I can hear a little bit of valve clatter, but I can tell from where. Its actually more audible from the sides and rear of the car than it is standing in front of the engine. It clatters no matter if its cold or hot.

I used to have oil pressure issues and radiator issues that would cause my motor to run obserdly hot and the valves would start to talk to me once to motor got real hot, but would be fine under normal operating temperatures. This was 2 months ago.

Fast forward to now and i've got all the oil leak problems fixed, and a new radiator/thermo, so the engine no longer overheats. But in the past few days i've noticed the valve chattering returning. Its very soft, but distinct.

So, i've got plenty of oil. Oil pressure gauge reads normal (Although I am VERY leery of those stock instruments.. have gotton into trouble before trusting those things.)

Also bear in mind that I havent noticed a tremendous loss of power, although the car has been generaly running a little worse ever since the incident where my radiator blew up on the highway.

So what have I left to check? Your thoughts?

Sorry if none of this makes sense, im getting tunnel vision from lack of sleep. I gotta get my butt down to the unemployment office in a few hours (damn economy) and then maybe I can grab some Zs when I get back home.
