89 Conv van 350. Would it fit?
One of my bosses at work has an 89 Chevy Conversion Van w/ a Brand new 350 and 700-R4 tranny he wants $1000 for the whole thing van and all. He has been working on cars for probably 30 years. He said he believes it would fit just to double check. I was told by someone else w/ less experience that van engines would need redrilled to fit my Camaro. Let me know the engine and tranny only have like 2000 miles and this is a deal I don't want to pass up. And also he thinks it a LS something not sure of witch one, he is gonna pull up the info on it and bring it in to show me.

It's an L-nothng, whell, maybe the LO3 . If the whole van $1000 it might be a deal, however, to get real performance, head & cam swap would be in order. swap everything from the van, & make sure you cain pass **** e-check if you have it.
And no redrillling required, but will be fun removing from van though

OK there was originally a V6 but I its gone there is nothing in it now... I know I need Strut tower brace and brace that bolts to the underside of the frame kinda like a lower strut tower brace. New struts, radiator, drive shaft etc.. It has a 4barrell Holly on it so if possible I am gonna do it the old fashion way w/ no Computer and harness mess. I also had another offer about an engine I barely know much about its 307 outta 86 olds Cutlass the guy wants 200 buck for the whole thing the frame on its shot so that's why he is getting rid of it.
Oh and thank *** I don't have that emmisions garbage to go though my car would never have passed before. Most of its plugged up, or removed.

Avoid teh 307 Olds like the plague, please, :nono: :nono: :nono: :nono:
I had one in an 87 Regal. What a dog motor, & 500 yards of vacuum hses for emissions.
The strut tower brace & wonder bar are not really needed, but nice to have.
Go w/a 75~80 distributor on the motor. No computer & it still gets yo HEI. Headers
are bountiful for it, and also find a tach from a v8 car to keep everything kosheer when you look at it.
