idle and wot problem

I have a 85 camaro 2.8 mpfi and the other day I was driving and a civic wanted to race.So on green we were both gone but when my car got to the point it was going to shift out a first it started to stumble so I had to back off. Well now at 3/4 to wot it just stumbles and doesn't want to go and sometimes at idle it will stumble alittle. I have checked my plugs, wires, coil, replace the ignition module, checked the distr cap and button and everything was fine. I replace my fuel filter but I still have the stumbling. So if anyone has any ideas of what it might be all is welcomed.

you have fuel right?

check the grounds on the battery as well as the body to engine area. either you have a dirty fuel system, your not getting enough current to run things or your pump may be on it's last leg.

how many miles are on the car and when if ever has the pump been changed?

i dont' know enough about 2.8's to tell the little signs but most common engine specifics will follow the same guideline. check the basics as fuel pump replacement isn't fun.

Well I noticed that the problem comes and goes. The car was workin great for one day then the problem started again. And could it be that i am running the msd coil with a cheap rotor and cap?

check the coil. when mine went bad, if I got on the gas easy, it would go just fine, but if I just floored it, it would burp, fart, and just tell me to blow it out my ***. You might as well do all the ignition components if you havn't done them in a while too. You'd be amazed at how much difference just a set of wires makes, let alone everything else.
