underdrive pulleys w/ system

ok, im thinking of underdrive pulleys. i think getting the alt. pulley wouldnt spin the alternator fast enough to charge the battery. i have a 600 watt amp and 2 10 inch subs. would just the crank pulley be ok to run on my car w/o having charging problems at idle? i have a 94 3.4L coming for it this week too, what is the output on that alternator and would it help at all to use it?

I think you can run just the crank pulley and be fine with the charging system, it's just the alt pulley you have to watch out for. Gotta upgrade that alternator to run the pulley. As long as your alt gauge reads 12 volts or higher at idle you're fine. If it's under, then it starts drawing from the battery.
Not sure how many amps the stock alt is.
