MAP problems...

Ok I bought a new MAP about say 3 weeks ago and I still had the problem of the car dying when I start to slow down, the idle would drop when coming to a stop sometimes it would come back but most of the time die. Now im having some major problems, I just started my car today and the idle stayed at 3000 rpm and would keep rising slowly I cut it off when it got to 4000.

If I unhook the vacuum line to the map sensor it runs real rough going from 900-1400 rpm back and forth and when I hook the vacuum line back up it jumps to 3000. Whats going on?

Im beginning to suspect my ECM is kaput. It won't throw a code when I unplug some sensors.

yeah, let me know how it goes, because I have a similar problem with my 1995, and only in the winter when my RPM's bog down when rolling to a stop. Thanks.
