My 60' times the one time I took the car in the 1/8 mile were 2.36-to 2.40 range, ET's of 10.84, 10.86 and 10.91.
Stone stock 195,000 mile car with street tires, 3.23 gears, open diff, 170lb driver and 130 lb passenger. Didn't spin TOO bad mainly due to lack of horsepower.
Maybe I'll get to that one day....

You dragged w/a pass? what track? While I haven't raced the Bird yet (never ran good enough for that), the GP did a 60' of 2.206 for refrence.

2.3, with wheelhop. nixon's stang runs about that in the 60', as well - so for the first 60', I kept up with a 5.0 stang!
Seriously, get back to be after I swap out the tranny/tq arm mount, and motor mount.
Of course, boosting 6-8psi could be an asset.

I was just playing and interested in finding out what it would do, I had a guy on another board tell me that wasn't bad as his stock 305 did 10.60's.

last time i ran, i bolted my slicks on it and pulled a 2.08 but it will pull 2.12 on street tires too. so, that's not a real big difference.

Damn you Doward!
Yeah, as he said, 2.345 60' with severe traction problems. You should've seen when I did the passenger drag! 2.8 60', I pulled like a 15.1 at 96 mph. Pitiful. Trending Topics

I already spooked an LT1 pretty good the other night at the track. I had him to 330' but the he pulled about a half a car on me.

Sweet... This guy had me off the line cause I had my AFPR adjusted badly and was bogging down low. Once I got to the top end of first, I was even with him or like 1 or 2 feet ahead of him. Hit 2nd gear and pulled about 2 car lengths on him. Hit 3rd and kept pulling. He was stock with a Flowmaster muffler. I was amazed he wasn't quicker. I think his tranny was going out...but so was mine, so we were even there.
