Does this mean I need a fuel pump?
I put my hands on the hump right behind the back seats and i can feel a strong vibration as well as low and high pitch noises. I got a dynomax superturbo muffler which gives this low deep tone at low rpms, is that it or is it or is it something else? I also noticed it does it mostly when im on D, neutral seems to be fine. Oh Im algo getting the check engine light when i leave the car running on P for a while, I think its related to Idle control or something like that.
thanks for your helps guys

only way an OBD 1 SES light could indicate a fuel pump problem would be with a fuel trim lean code
check your fuel pressure
should be 42 PSI

Before my first replacement pump died, it became extremely loud- sounded like a hornet's nest inside the fuel tank.
But when my original stock pump died, it died quietly- the steady "hummm" when turning the key to "on" turned into a sickly "gurgle/sputter".
When my current (second replacement) pump dies, not only will I curse out borg-warner, but I'll be sure to tell you guys what kind of noise it made. I'd probably be censored for the noises I'll make when the next pump dies.
