after all that work why are you in such a hurry to sell it? i doubt you'll get that much for it 3k is usually the max for a nice sixer (except maybe AGood2.8's car i'd be willing to drop some dime for a car that nice) just enjoy it for now and modify the crap out of it later

I want to sell it because i might be moving. Im leaving the east coast and ill be heading to the west coast. I think I could buy a T/A once I get there. About the price, the actual blue book said that my car is worth 4300 if i go to blue book online it will say 3000. Check the actual book not the online one.

$2500 tops for yours is what I'd pay.

I paid $1400 for mine, out the door, with 84K miles, good exterior, needed a little interior work, but 84k miles, running smooth, with a 5 spd? yeah, I was all over that.

Is yours an auto?

You might be able to find someone to buy it for $4k. I just tend to be a bit more realistic - $4k can buy you a nice IROC.

That is a nice paint job! Don't sell it! Take it with you!!

I might be moving out of state soon as well and I will be taking 2 cars and 1 truck. My '92 RS, '68 F*rd f100, and one in the works rusted can't drive just yet '50 Plymoth coupe. Even if you have to pay some one to transport it you can find pretty good deals.

dont think 4's that bad of a price. Here in st. louis and the midwest, thirdgens are a dime a dozen, but there's a reason for that, they're all torn up, worn out, and falling apart. Nice looking cars, and nice cars can run a good pretty penny, and his is a later model car. There was a 84 T/A at a local dealer here, car had 50,xxx miles, clean original paint, original glass (still had the vin numbers etched into it), etc etc etc...a "perfect" car. This "reputable" dealer was wanting $15k for it. So, nice Iroc's especially the desireable ones (TPI-350's) can go for 7 and 8 grand, and T/A - GTA's with the same setup can cost the same...some times more....

If you sell it, what's gonna be your ride in the mean time? What if there are no F-bodies as nice as yours for a decent price?

I got $3,000 even for my Camaro. And it wasn't even in GREAT shape. But it was reliable and had some performance parts and a good stereo. Some blonde lady bought it. Shoulda seen my trying to explain my torque converter lock switch to her.......
