First ghetto bracket mock up

Not pretty, but gets the job done.
This is the pass side, driver side going to be more interesting.

Comparo between 3800 bracket & new one

Yeah, and you thought the pvc intake was ghetto

edit: All three brackets lined up

The new one will be slightly longer than the 2.8 brackets, but has a bigger base and different mounting bolt locations.

um, are you trying to start a fire under the hood on this one too j/k (trying to get ya back for the 90hp comment )

Looks like it needs some small fine tuning, but atleast it gives you an idea of whats needed.

West Coast Fiero makes 3800 engine mounts for fieros. Maybe you could talk them into working with your to make them for thirdgens. You could get a quality mount out of it and everyone else would have a supplier for the parts.

I understand why but wonder why? hehehe

Most people I know would of just set it in there with the stock 3800 mounts and welded them down where they touched.

Quick easy install.

If you wanted to, you could actually send us an email at the shop, and let us know what you are looking for. As the gentleman said in the post above, we make mounts for everything dealing with the 3800 and the Fiero. If you actually either sent us the mounts you wanted done, or measurements, we wouldn't have a problem doing that. If you want, give me an email and we can talk about this further...

That would be jsut as bad as trying to put in a 2.8~3.4 w/the 3.4 brackets on. It just will not work (properly or look good w/intake sitting 4inches above the hole cut in the hood.

Fords Never Die, I'm gonna improve the model, & do the drivers side next. Then, maybe.....

edit: You should also notic that my base for the mout is significantly smaller thatn the stock peice. The 4th gen driveline has brackets on either side that connect the tranny to the block. Most likel;y due to having to be installed as 1 assembly & not stressing out the bell housing bolts. Glad I don't have to worry about that
