my car is stock height now, but my sig has a pic of it before the new springs.

by the way, this low had MAJOR clearence issues, the frame/ypipe/oil pan/tranny hit the ground ALOT. hard a couple times, not worth it, dont drop more then an inch

Currently has a botched spring cut or torch job done by a prior owner- rides like pooh. I have Eibach Sportlines and new KYB's waiting to go in when I get a weekend.

I am very interested in this thread..... when you post a picture please list what springs as well as shocks/struts you have, along with if you had to cut a coil or anything like that. thanks

My car with Eibach Pro kit, and kyb suspension. Horrible picture, but it'll do, im not exactly sure how much it lowered it, i think about 3/4". I already have to go up driveways at a super steep angle, plus my exhuast/cat is really close to the ground. i wouldnt lower it more than a inch, or you'll be scraping all the time, and will probably bottom out hard a few times at least.

I just put in ST's from Suspension Max and struts/shocks from Monroe. Gas charged rear and what ever for the front. I got them NEW in the box off eBay for $60 delivered (GF crashed the car before he could install them).

The springs gave me 1.25" drop all the way around. I don't scrape anything unless I aim for it!

84Berlinetta3rd check that rear tire's rotation arrow I think you have it mounted wrong or you rotated the wheel to the wrong side of the car.

car looks to have the same amount of space mine does. Maybe since it all new the shocks n struts are holding it up higher?

I actually have coil over shocks on the back of mine. The coil overs were installed unloaded to give no lift but I stuck 1 1/2 in lift studs on to the shock to even out the ride.

So I'm "lifted" but only so it was even all aorund. Car rides and handles nice.

I posted this before/after shot a while ago after I did my swap, here they are again!

Oops, almost forgot- the springs are Suspension Techniques V6 springs, part # 60115, from www.shox.com.

Extra things changed at the same time: KYB GR-2 struts, KYB Gas-A-Just shocks, KYB strut mounts (both sides), ES polygraphite control arm bushings, new Moog tie rod ends (inner & outer)/center link/idler arm/adjuster sleeves/balljoints.

Anyways, mines not lowered yet, but I have a week off in a couple of weeks, and assuming all goes as planned (like finding a spring compressor), I'll be doing my steering/suspension rebuild.

I've got Suspension Techniques springs with Tokico shocks going on, along with new V8 control arms and a lot of other stuff. I've got about $2000 in parts sitting in my closet waiting to be called into active duty.

when i lower mine i am going to keep stock in back and lower the front, give it that going fast whil standing still, wish there was a way i could raise the back about a half inch, do blazers use the same size springs as 3rd gens?

If you want to raise the rear, get new spring isolators from GM. They're not the original 3rd gen ones, they are 4th gen ones, and they will add about 1" of lift is what I've heard. I've got a set of 2 that I'm not going to use if you want them.

No, Blazers use leafs. I wouldn't raise the back any, lowering the front should give you what you want, unless you want that awful '70's stinkbug stance....yech!

what's with the can under the rear end and the front a arms? lowering springs won't change the height there...that only depends on wheel/tire size. i'll post some pics of mine sometime, it has stock springs but i'm thinkin they may have worn a little over the years, its not bad though.
