About 12 hours of labor later.... Stripped all way down, cleaned, painted, antifreeze plugs almost replaced. Heads are about half ported (need spring compressor).

that is project85's old 3.4l engine that I meet halfway and picked up yesterday. My engine is still in car so I can drive it back n forth to work.

Knowing hit had cought on fire, and I plan on SCCA'ing the car its going to go in, I pulled heads to do some porting, plus have machine shop do some work, and replace gaskets/seals check levelness due to excessive heat.

Plan is a hybird of about 5-7 different engine parts plus some aftermarket parts.

Good to see you made it back

It ended up being a 15hr trip for us, but we did get to see DA PATS in New Orleans I might even order the gaskets down here & bring them up.

Motor from a 94 Camaro, and now new one from 95 Camaro. THey make great donor cars

I may pop in from time to time to check on progress.

Yeah you'll be doing the locomotive power pulls real soon!
Boggie on!
This motor has a charmed life I'd say.
Isn't this the one that was purchased from Ebay?
