V6 turbo progress?

what ever happened with the guys that put a turbo on their 3.1? last I heard they messed up the oil pan loading or unloading the car off of a car hauler. I believe they were using a mitsubishi turbo.

He did a full rebuild to a 3.1 (lower compression) and is breaking the motor in w/o the turbo.

Other then that, he will have to speak for himself. Doward?

Also I think lee is also turboing one?

Doward here... progress? 3.1 is rebuilt, new cam, ported heads, and fully broken in. Turbo is almost fully rebuilt (just a few minor things I'm working on now) and as soon as the downpipe is complete, I'll be at Gainesville Raceway, with a big grin, and 10 psi seeing what she does!

Sorry for the lack of updates lately, but working 60+ hour weeks is killing the 'project time'.

Feh.. yours runs.. showoff =P

My passenger manifold's back on, with extra weld material added inside and ground down to smooth transition flow into the turbine housing.. also did some serious porting work to the crossover pipe's connection.. huge restriction was in there.. and mild porting work to the primaries.

Due to medical emergency within the household, my project, and most of my life for that matter, is on hold, though. She'll be running again in a week or two.. and better than ever, hopefully with less turbo lag, a clamp on the exhaust crossover to discourage it falling apart again, and a stainless steel wire around the crossover pipe to reinforce my view
