fully tuned up I was getting 20-22'ish in town, and pulled 28mph on the highway. 190k, auto.

Just got done with engine swap, so my mpg should change.

Went home this past weekend, close to 210 miles, (roughly, plus or minus a couple) and i used half a tank of gas...should be 7.5 gallons or so that'd be 28 or so, all highway excpet the last mile and a half, and the first half mile....on the return trip however, i was only pulling like 15-18 or so.....we'll just say i went through 3/4 a tank on the drive back. Thinking that was wind, rain, and having the stupid headlights up for a good portion of the roll back to school.

Most I've gotten out of my 3.4 with the 5 speed was 25-26mpg.

Most I've gotten out of the GTA was 26-27. That was before the automatic blew up. It's a 5 speed now. Not sure if that would up the MPG or make it go down.

Gearing is practically the same in the cars. The Camaro has 3.23s and the GTA has 3.27s... for what it's worth. Then again the 3.4 hasn't run 100% the way it should since it's been back together. So it's not a 100% fair comparision I guess.

1984 V6 2BBL, 700R4 auto, I get 25 mpg--some city driving and some highway. A friend of mine who converted his '84 sport coupe from the V6 to the 305 with a 4BBL from '68, coupled with a TH 350, and he got 16mpg.

My car is a Piece of crap. I get like 10mpg if I am lucky, with the 3.4. But my Emissions are bad and I am in need of a new coil.

On my last long trip I got like 18 miles per gallon. That was going about 75-80 MPH the whole way though. But I think that I could use a new ICM, and a new computer and alternator and that will help some.

25 mpg average, 30 freeway. dumping in injector cleaner tomorrow, hooking msd6a back up, and installing blaster coil again (hopefully that wasn't bad when i replaced everything out of desperation to make it run)

Town is very close to twenty & highway (when I CAN MOVE IN LA TRAFFIC!) is high side of twenty-five, but under thirty.
Ignition (strong spark) is major key, along with light foot & cooperative traffic.
Accel makes a great, strong aftermarket coil & it's easy to install.
