Chip buring for the V6?
Does anyone know If there are any files available for our PROM burning pleasure? And, has anyone had a chip custom burnt for their V6? I found a prom burner at FRYS for 150 bux, not bad. If anyone knows a place that does this in Houston, let me know, thanx.

Tunercat does have the $3A calibration you'd need for tuning the 7302 ecu. funstick has done tuning using this calibration, and did a chip for Doward's 22pph injectors. Tunercat would cost $80 and the $3A .tdf would cost an extra $20. There are no public hacks for the $3A calibration at this time. Also, make sure you have a 1227302 ECU first. I've seen data hinting at a mid-year change in ECUs in '86

(finally, replies)
LOL> anyhow, How do I know what ECM I have, I know my prom ID, the snapon scanner tells me that. Sonar and I found a Prom burner at FRY'S for 120 bux, I think they sell the chips too. From what I can tell by data logging on the scanner, our Computers have a LOT of room for improvement (especially on modified setups). I know mine runs leaner than Viel. I definately need advance curve adjustment as well. And, when we have breathing mods (cam, custom intake, exhaust, porting etc. ) our computers' fuel delivery protocol can't keep up. We should really start putting our heads together and figure out what works. For the greater good of the V6 community, lol
