Or find a shop which will do all of the fabrication for you.. be prepared to dump 3-5 grand in that direction.

That's a fairly average price.. but now that I think about it the system likely wouldn't work without another grand dumped into a speed density conversion, larger injectors, etc.
One person I know could do the fabrication side, but he's not computer savvy enough to have a clue on the fuel injection side. And of course, we have no idea where you are, so reccomending anyone is pretty futile.
Or did you mean anyone I know already done a turbo setup? There's a few of us.. Doward, Raven, and myself.
You might want to do a search on this topic.. it's been discussed an appalling number of times with relatively few people ever carrying out their plans. At present, RedTtop5spd seems to be the only person I can think of who's all serious about their convictions, and I doubt he'll be running boost in the next 6 months. He's in the "stare at the turbo sitting on the shelf while researching his brains out" phase.

Perhaps because the V8's have been done to death and some of us really enjoy modifying V6's? I know I do. I'm building a V8, but no chance I'd ever drop it in my camaro. V6 is still going to be my focus once the other one is built.

I think the V8 thing has been severely beaten to death... or perhaps if I blow up my V6, it just won't affect me as much.. either way, I've only got about 100 bucks invested in my turbo project, so it sure beats a swap
I mean, sure, I'm only topping out at 4 psi right now.. so there's bugs in the system.. gives me something to do.. not sure if my injectors can feed beyond 4 psi anyway
