Car Runs poorly when warmed up
Ive got new O2, MAF, Plugs, Coil, and alot of other new stuff on the car, and 2weeks ago it starts to run badly when it gets warmed up. When its cold it pulls hard like its supost to, when warm, the pedle has a feathery feal to it in realation to power. Also tries to die when slowing down or when i stop. Auto Tranny. not getting any codes yet. Did have a 32 Then a 44. 44 being the O2 sensor reading lean, thats probly just cus of the car maybe trying to correct itself.

180 and up it starts to act up getting as hot as 210. Just picked up a replacement MAF problem still there. Still unable to get a SES light. Smell of unburned fuel is noticed after it really chugs badly, as in it seems to fire a few times but wraps up 4k with no accelleration.

Yep thats warm. These cars run great cold with a cold dense charge it will then pull hard all the time hehehe
I have a true CAI with ram air and my car runs so cool the fan is not even needed.
true CIA
no AC radiator
home made air dam
all played a part in it some how. Car just kept running cooler n cooler temp wise.
In the pic below this is as hot as my car ever gets. It will get hot if it sits more than 4-5 min not moving and then the fan comes on.

Its not that my car is getting to hot something is kicking in when it gets warmed up, i was thinking O2 seing how it has to warm up wiht the car before it starts to work properly. ALso i have no air damn, stupid curb
and i do like AC. Got my own CAI, and goign to biulding a new air dam in a few weeks maybe i should work on that while my car cools down so i can drive normaly agian

My air dam is a piece of scrap bent up aluminum drip edge. Used on a roof. Stomped it flat and cut it to length. It happen to be the right width and bent into shape nice. Since it has all these built in ridges it keeps a firm shape easy.
needs painted and is not even noticeable unless you look.

It was cheap and easy to do.I was actually tired of these few 8 foot pieces of drip edged I had laying around that was just getting beat and bent up. I started stomping it flat for the garbage and got an idea.
Thats air dam size and aluminum, hmmm
Some black paint and a few screw later I was in a whole new ball game. Don't remember the last time the fan was used.
My amp likes the fan not running the best.

Perhaps the Coolant Temperature Sensor (CTS) is not working correctly. Also note that your car probably has two coolant sensors, one for the ECM which mounts to the driver's side, front of the engine, in the intake manifold I think (I don't think it was in the head). The other sensor is for the gauge on the dash. Anyhow, if the CTS is sending the wrong signal to the ECM, who knows what it would do. You might check Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor too. I had a problem with my Camaro where the IAT was reporting 75*F when it was 31*F outside. It caused the engine to run rough, and back fire through the intake when it was cold. Once the engine had warmed up it ran great. I replaced the sensor and the problem was eliminated.
Both sensors are cheap.
