Here is a post where two solutions are given. One by me and one by TomP. If this doesn't help, let me know.

Well, give Gumby a little slack. I knew exactly what to search for because I posted it and my search only returned 3 posts. I've spent many hours sifting through posts from searches and not finding the right info.

Ya, it's hard to tell how people mean to say things when it's just text. I've seen a few fights start in the year I've been a member because somebody took something the wrong way. Especially when someone asks a question that's been asked many times and the first response is a seemingly annoyed "use the search button."

Well gumby has been here since 2001, i've been here since 1999 so I think thats enough of a history between us, considering we have been here for a while, so I dont think it will be a problem. I know the sarcasim dosen't come across as well in text, online.

I don't actually know (in person, that is) anybody on these boards, and I don't really know who has a history with who, so I guess I came to the defense when I didn't need to, so whatever. Anyways, I think the point here is that hopefully Gumby gets his tach hooked up.

Hey Gumby,

Is this sort of what you are looking for, or are you looking for the pin-out on the instrument panel?

I shouldn't of search the whole forum. If you just search our lovely V6 forum, the first 3 results have the info.

I got one of these tachs. Wanted it for a while. Even more since they stopped making them two years ago. Supply can't last forever. Not a fan of the big round tach or anything blocking my view. stock tach is kind of hidden if you have both hands on the wheel and you gotta take your eyes off the road to watch it.
I can stick this one right in front of me but lose nothing but the view of my nose.

I also like it as its one of the few digi tachs with a different color for red line that matches our car. Most of them its show red lower for a V8 car. And the other don't show anything but a number, 1000-8000 is the same color.

That is also neat and helpful as I want to tie the tachs back light into my dimer circut.

Well I got it installed. Works n looks nice. Didn't lose any of my view but a bit of the nose. moved my load gauge next to it.

Its a vacuum gauge but hooked into the EGR, IAC circuit so it only measures load. Until you touch the pedal it doesn't move.

More accurate than reading straight vacuum.

[I also blured over the mess, to cold / lazy to clean the drive way today.]
