carburated/fuel injected

hey i know this is a little off topic but my friend has a 1988 honda accord and we were lookin at the specs of it and its half carburated and half fuel injected? wut is this an how does it work? is it more effiecient? is it sumthin to consider for a camaro?

It's not efficient, it's just cheap. It's not fuel injected in any aspect, either, it's just a computer controlled feedback carburetor, which is what all thirdgen stock carburated vehicles are to begin with.
