Just what the title says.
Are they the same? I have a jet chip for a 1988 camaro 2.8L with a 5 speed, I was wondering if the computer is the same so a friend could buy it for his 1989 firebird 2.8L with a 5 speed.

Yeah, they're the same. Both 1227302s. Chips likely differ a bit, but not enough for them to use an entirely different calibration, either.
