V8 springs under a V6 car...

I'm going to install some WS6/1LE springs under my 91 6cyl Firebird. Has anyone here done this yet, and how did it effect the car?

Essentially, I'm going to have the car apart for maintenance, and since its going to be converted to a V8 sometime in the next couple months anyway, I'm going to go ahead and do the springs. That and I already have three sets of springs.

Project, roflmao.

Hes talking about suspension springs.

Anyway, a former member did, and it made the front sit way high. He had to cut a little over 1 coil off to make it sit level.

Well I can't speak for WS6 springs but I have installed Eibach Sprotline springs for a V8 application (they don't make a V6 spring) on my wife's RS and it sits level. If my link to my cardomain site works go to page 2, I plan to take some better pics one day.

DONT DO IT!!!! i ordered the wrong springs by mistake and put WS6 springs on my v6 for a month, thing sat so high it threw my camber out to unadgustable limits. \ / looked real stupid. but it did'nt bottom out.

oh, but if you do,... would you like to buy my springs? they were purchased brandnew, and were only in my car for about 45 days. still have the barcode stickers on them i'll give you a good deal. this goes for anyone who wants them.

but again, i would not segust it.

i just called my local GM parts dealer and the confirmed that these are the toughest spring yo can get for the fe2/f41 suspension.
the suspension codes are as follows:
F41 : SUSPENSION SYSTEM, FRT, RR, FIRM RIDE, HANDLING
FE2 : SUSPENSION SYSTEM, RIDE HANDLING
FE1 : SUSPENSION SYSTEM, S0FT RIDE

but if you wan't to do your own research here is the part #14029399.

GM sells them for $ 124 ea
GM's cost is $ 71 ea

i will sell them for $100 plus shipping. i will try and find out today how much shipping will be. or if you live somwhat close we could meet somwhere. feel free to pm me.
