Map/maf
Do the 3.1s have a MAF, or do they just use the MAP sensor, because I was told to check my MAF due to a problem but I don't think i have one.

90+ are MAP-only stock. Check the vacuum line to your MAP for cracks or loose rubber connectors.

Who told you to check your MAF? They weren't looking under the hood at this point in time were they?? If so, disregard their comments, close your hood, get in the car and drive away briskly.
But seriously-what made them say to check it. A check engine code pulled, something about the way the car ran, etc.?

same problem i have posted on her a few times, the engine speed slowing down while i'm driving like someone was forcing the throttle back up when i had it at a cruise, it lopes. and no the hood wasn't up,
and i took off the hose to the map and blew through it, its clean with no leaks
