Are you getting any codes?
no, no codes
do computers just go bad out of the blue? Or by jump starting it? This all seemed to maybe have started when i jumped it.

A LEAK FROM YOUR POWER BOOSTER COULD CAUSE IT CHECK THE HOSE AND WERE IT PLUGS INTO THE BOOSTER.

the EGR could be sticking and not closing when it should be. The excess vacuum it creates by staying open wreaks havoc on the timing.Originally posted by 3.1RS

A simple test is to get the engine dead cold and remove the plug. Drive around, and if the problem goes away, you got the culprit.

However, that would only be when appling breaks. And when if that diaphram goes out the engine bay is flooded with the hiss of the leak.Originally posted by FAST RS

what about a MAF? didn't see it in your list. mine had a miss in mid RPM's as a result of a bad MAF, it actually has a minor and occasional miss right now in mid RPM , and is a little sluggish off the line (closed loop operation) and i'm thinking it's related to the bad O2 sensor it has right now...another possibility.

The EGR staying open creates excess vacuum and leans out the AFR.Originally posted by V6sucker
