i have all after market dynomax catback, highflow cat, asp underdrive pulley, hypertech computer chip, 160 thermostat, transgo shift kit, b&m kickdown kit, crane powermax cam/lifters .423 lift, msd ignition, msd coil, accel ignition wires, boush +4 spark plugs, posi traction, and accel distrubuter cap and rotors, and cold air intake.

How fast does a 3.1 firebird go 0-60 stock and how much more faster will it accelerate with these parts? Also what does a kickdown kit do for performance?

 

im pretty sure the kick down kit will allow your tranny to stay in OD (over drive and not kick down so you can reach a higher top speed with out it down shifting when you put it to the floor.

 

you'll probably notice a little difference with all of that stuff but i don't think you'll see a huge increase. i'd dump the bosch +4 plugs though. i don't like them...anybody else have an opinion on them?

 

My 3.1 Camaros 0-60 is just shy of 10 seconds.

 

I read probably 100+ opinions on spark plugs. Get regular ole copper ac delco. The Bosch 4+ plat's block air/fuel flow to the spark with all the extra electrodes or whatever you wanna call'em. You only get 1 spark from it anyways I'm pretty sure. Car will idle better and run better with ac delcos, I know from experiance. I had the 4+ and I changed back to reg delcos, car is smoother for sure at idle.
