EGR on the carbed 2.8
does the 82-84 2.8 have an egr system? i want to get the edlebrock setup with the holley carb for my car but i want it to still pass emissions and all that the edlebrock site says something about it being Not legal for sale or use on pollution controlled motor vehicles.

The EGR Valve is on the intake. With the Elderbrock setup there are two piceces, the intake and then a top plate. If you get the 2 barrell top plate the provisions for the EGR is there if you go with the 4 barrell top it is not. There use to be a hood clearnce issue with these setups b/c they were basically design for the s-10. I would check in with Elderbrock to see if which ever setup you choose will fit under your hood if that is a concern.
