Okay, impractical as it is, does anyone know of anybody ever putting a jointed rear axle into a Camaro, like a Corvette rear end? Sounds like too much work for a V6 car, I know, but I'm curious if it has ever been done on ANY Fbody before.

 

I believe someone did this once; search the suspension forum for "IRS" (independent rear suspension).

 

Yep, it's still up there, with the pics and everything. After you do the search, look for the message titled "Independant rear suspension", the thread starter is okfoz- it's an old message so you might not want to reply
