E2SE carb > tps adjust?
Where do you adjust the tps on a v6 2.8 Rcch E2SE carb? (The 173 engine code)

Transmission: 700R4 automatic
You don't adjust it....it just drops into its little spot at the side of the float bowl case....the arm/lever that works the accelerator pump also works the tps, which sits in its space on top of a spring that keeps it up in place against the underside of the air horn (top of the carb.). Neither the TPS nor the Mixture Control Solenoid have an adjustment on them, mechanically speaking. If you can, get a repair manual and look at an exploded view of the carburetor; you'll see what I'm talking about.
If yours is malfunctioning, then you'll have to replace it. Not hard, just take the top of the carb off, pull the old tps out, drop the new one in, and put the top of the carb back on with a new gasket.
