does one if you guys know the weight of the V6 in the 87 RS

and 5sp Transmission Shipers neeed it to ship it

You should be max 3000lbs unless you have a heavy speaker box and crap like that (jack, tools, etc)

An '87 Iroc (V8 & manual tranny) is 3250 lbs with t-tops but no A/C or power options- pretty much bare bones. You should be about 300 lbs less than that.

Yes, I goofed on that one- sorry

The motor is about 325 without exhaust manifolds and the tranny is about 75 lbs. And auto is about 175.

Your looking about 400lbs. 450-475 max with manifolds and acessories
