uhhhhhh..... perhaps you should explain wtf you're talking about a bit better, because my mind just registered both items as the same item (the fuel 'block' *is* the fuel rail)

there is a small block that the fuel lines "plug" into, this is also the where the fuel pressure test connector is. This "block" (Haynes Manual calls it) Bolts to the top of the fuel rail. Between the block and the rail is a metal gasket with 2 rubber "o-rings"(lack of a better term). My o-rings on that gasket dont look so go so I want to replace it

(breaks out Haynes manual) Oooooohhhhh........ hmm. no clue. Sorry  Check with a dealership. They'll have tear-down images that show the part number at least.. perhaps they can tell you what it is.

Tech, he's talking about the actual 'block' (entry ports) for the fuel lines, wheere they go into the fuel rail.

that piece of aluminum that has the two rubber holes in it?

yea good luck with that... lol

Junkyard is where I ended up getting my replacement. Just kept taking them apart till I got a decent one.

Yeah, looking at the haynes I figured out what piece he's referring to.. but that doesn't give me any better clue on what that gasket would be named, and I highly doubt you'll find it anywhere other than a dealership....

Can you access that area easy?
Sprinkle some powder over that fitting to test your theory of leakage.
Hit the wrecking yards for any similar sized "O" rings
PLUS any TRUE DECENT Parts store can sell ya a "Fuel injected" "O" ring of a certain size.
Even dealership sells those, too.
Correct, go visit the GM parts counter, book in hand.
Spend probably $5 if that much.

dealership only carrys fuel rail as complete set. All 3 parts. Is NOT cheap either.

Time to go to a salveage yard and just get all 3.

To end this thread I found out what it is. The only place that carries them is the dealer. The only way it's sold is as part of the "Fuel Block Assembly Kit" and its about $80. I got one on order but for now a little gas proof gasket sealent ($3.99 at autozone) has done the trick.

thanks guys
