Tomp?

I know you said you did some filing to the exhuast gaskets where the Y-pipe meets the manifold. How much did you take off there and is it really worth it. I need to replace mine and I was wondering. I tried searching for the post, but unable to find it Thanks

I remember that post and some, well, less than stunning pics to go with . I'd say that your can can take at least an 1/8 in around, giving a 1/4"bigger opening and not have any issues.

Yeah, i just can't seem to find the post. I'm being told by my mechcanic that i have to much back pressure and it is making exhuast come out of my "exhuast check valves"? I don't know what he is talking about?

Its all new. And it runs fine and doesn't over heat, what the hell is an exhuast check valve? never heard of it, he said exhuast is coming out of it because fo to much back pressure?

Well like I just said in that other message,

I think people believe more in the TB Bypass mod than taking a round file to the iron donuts, but hey, whatever.
