turbocharger
what kinds of things should i be aware of before i pop a turbocharger in my 2.4 V6 (carb)??
should i be worried about the suspension, tranny, engine?
ive never done any mods on my camaro, but its slow as hell and its pissing me off, plus i can get a turbo cheap cuz my buddy works in a hot rod shop
keep in mind, im not looking for a 1000hp machine, just something thats not so embarassing......300hp would be ok with me

omg, soooo do not do it to a carb'd engine!!
The bottem end is notoriously weak on the carb'd motors (82-84).
Seeing as how you can swap a later model block in, though, turbo'ing it right now isn't all that bad of an idea
Solid float, for one... get a t3/t4... going draw through, or blow?

Start by getting a 3.4 block, with an Edelbrock 4 barrel intake, and a 390cfm Holley. Should run you about $500-$700 total, and it will be a BIG difference with a new cam!

draw thru = the 301 Turbo T/A ~ early style Buick turbo cars.
blow thru = big 'ol "air hats" on top on the carb to keep all that psi blowing thru the top of the carb.
