mystery oil...
i bought mystery oil after seeing what everyone said about my tapping lifter and valvoline max life (140 even though it says 130 on my car..doesnt matter right?). my question is...i bought the mystery oil and iwas wondering...does it go in the gas or oil? it sounds to me the mystery stuff goes in the gas..but...how would that help anything?

just my personal opinion.......... if there is a lifter tapping, or some noise in the engine, i dont try to cover it up w/ any additive or whatever. ill tear it down and fix it, even if i was in college. i try to avoid any further damage by getting metal shavings in the oil or whatever. but lots of people say that mystery stuff is pretty good or lucas or whatever. i guess it all comes down to your budget and mechanical knowledge. if you dont have a lot of mechanical skills or know someone who does, try the other stuff out, if you do have those skills and do have the money, tear er down man!!

Mystery oil is for cleaning, not trying to cover up a problem (like that Lucas junk). Put it in the enigne and run for a week than change the oil and filter.

haha..hey fast rs, when u used it in ur cars did u put it directly in the oil? or both? and how much? those instructions just arent that clear to me on the bottle. i had an idiot friend that destroyed his car engine using some additive. im overly cautious
