3:1 oil. or perhaps whit lithiam (sp?) grease. if your a renagade you could even go with WD40. i would use 3:1 oil, because of the pleasing aroma.

it may be the pedal itself, the link that makes it move under the dash, or it may be the spring on th throttle body. move the spring to wot spray, and get some in the cable too

If the sound is coming from the rear and under the car, check your rear universal. Sometimes they will make noise under different loads, I.E. braking or backing off the throttle. They can be bad 2 ways. They be lose, the bearings shot or they can be sizeed in 1 or both planes of movement. Do take a look because if it breaks, you're going to drop your driveshaft on the road somewhere and they have been know to kill people when dropped on the highway. Besides, you'll need a tow.

PULL OFF EACH WHEEL & THE BACK BRAKE DRUMS TO SEE UPCOMING BRAKE WORK NEEDED!
IN FRONT INSPECT THE BACK SIDE OF ROTORS!
Don't ask more until you tell us the results of this inspection. Because I'll bet this is where is your probable problem
