Hey guys, I think I'm running a little rich. Can anyone help in fixing this problem. I know I could do it myself, I just need directions. I really don't feel like forking money out to a dealership. Thanks in advance.

 

what makes you think your running rich? can you give us a little more details?(although im not a car *** by any measure, but we need more details with what is going on to make you think that your running rich)

 

to be quite honest with, i don't know. a friend of mine said the exhaust smelled like my car is running rich. so I guess my question is, How can I find out if my car is running rich, and if it is, how do I remedy it? sorry for the vagueness of the question

 

You have to explain it up, since there could be several points to check in your car....running rich means that the car fumes are strong in most of the cases, did you tune it up recently?....IAC valve is working good?....please confirm

 

Any chance we can see some co and hc readings? Is the MIL on? Have ya got a scanner to read block learn and intergrator?

 

i just got it inspected and i'll post the emmissions test thanks guys
