MAF screen
Ok, Im a broke high school student whos just looking for some cheap ways to squeeze just a little more power out of the 2.8L. Ive got a Magnaflow muffler coming, started planning out how Im gonna do a cold air intake and Im probably gonna get a new cat in the near future. If I remove the screen in the MAF sensor am I going to get anything out of it. Will it be sucking gas real fast. I drive it everywhere, so I dont want to affect the gas mileage any. Thoughts?

word is the screen helps straighten and direct the airflow over the maf sensor, i would keep it. its not there to catch anything(what could get through the airbox and filters?), and gm wouldnt put it there if it didnt have a purpose. dont remove it.
