vacume line question

why does my Vin no show my car as an 85 but my vacume system matches that of a 86-89? and not any diagram for a 85 i have ever seen? it does not even match the under hood one but as far as i can tell it has about 50% of its plastic line left.

and engine as well.

Be truthful, your car is now 20+ years old. You are very likely to find something that doesnt match what it came with stock.

1985 MPFI Vacuum line set up is a one year stand alone design.
No other year matches it at all
But those other years are close.
This picture is what ya seek.
Patch your lines with 5/16" windshield wiper hose.
The hard plastic lines do not exist anymore so treat yours with respect.

None!
Person I "got this from" should be chiming in real soon!
Now ask me about scoring the 1985 S-10 series Vacuum hose sticker label!
That was a tail of chasing down since 1989!

It's yours also.
This is from a FIREBIRD!!!!!!
Just be a bit creative in the following the path of hoses.
PLUS yours being not in CA (as in smog laws rule), could be "deviated from" due to age & someone else hacking the hoses for whatever reason.

also, check the help section for some of the hard plastic line replacement. I noticed some after the 3.4 was gone.
