V6 tranny Cat convertor brace information

Hi All
I'm asking this also on the tranny side.
Never know who will supply correct information first.
On our trannys, there is a bracket brace with rubber supports that connect to the convertor area.
Not the tranny mount at rear of tranny.
Any leads for "Correct" name or GM part number or cost I am looking at?
The rubber straps on mine have been damaged.

i dont know about part numbers, but i do know that there are 2 different types. when i swapped from 700r4 to t5 the t5 had a different bolt pattern for the torque arm and exhaust hanger bolts. i went to the junkyard and scored some brackets and the rubber stuff(ironically they didnt even come off a t5 car, so it wasnt tranny specific). you can drill out the rivets and swap the rubbers. i know they sell replacement rubbers at parts stores, i just dont know what they would be called.

try looking under torque arm mount and/or exhaust hangers at autozone or something.

I dont know the name. and if I knew you would need that later in life I would have sent you mine when I did the t5 swap.

I could possibly score a yard one sometime if you cant find a new one.

You know how to contact me.

I'm more pissed at myself I did not deal with it when I had car up in air recently.
No not torque arm item.
I'll deal with it shortly.
Just seeking the part so I can just swap it, not investigate it.
Thanks for all tips
Since moving so much stuff here & there.

it's the exhaust support where the cat-back hooks up to the cat.

Exhaust hanger for the cat. I got one at Advance, there are several different sizes, don't remember which one I bought, $17 IIRC.

That piece goes from the CAT to the tranny bracket. Two bolts on the CAT, third through the top of the rubber loop to the current trans bracket.

It just replaces the rubber section. Should work. I found the same type of deal for my SO's '87 Regal. The rear hanger replacements are just the rubber and peice that attached to the pipe. The frame hanger piece is re-used.

RBob.

Its and aftermarket item now. The GM part number for the V6 converter hanger is 14089475. It has been discontinued, and there are no more left in dealer inventory.

Ked, can you post which auto parts store and a part number? Mine is starting to tear also. A picture would be good if you have the time.
Thanks,
