Yes... but if you're referring to a '95 3.4 from an F-body, unless your heads are toast, there's absolutely no reason to bolt 3.4 heads on. They're the same casting/valves/ports/size/shape/weight/everything/etc

as far as the injectors, they are all the same TYPE, and SHAPE. One from a 2.8 will bolt in (may not work correctly for the # size) into a 3.1 and a 3.4.

I have to disagree with some info here.
1. He said 2.8, didnt state what year or injection system.
2. If you are a 2.8 carb, the valves are bigger in the FI heads.
3. The differences between FI2.8 heads and RWD3.4FI heads are so little, you wont notice it unless they are side by side.
4. a head off a fwd 6/60 will bolt onto a rwd 6/60, but you need to change the pistons, as well as use the FWD intake, and modifiy it to work with a distrib, or swap to SFI injection.
5. not all 6/60 heads are the same. There are about 4-5 different ones.
If you have found peformance aluminum heads for a 6/60, please let us know where.
futher more. The fuel injectors go in the INTAKE, not the HEADS, so heads have nothing to do with the injectors.

I have a 2.8 engine out of an 85 s10 its carbed. Wantign to rebuild it, and install the aluminum heads that are coming off a 95 camaro 3.8. Then I want to put fuel injection on it using a complete setup off of a 3.1 out of a camaro. Wondering if that will work.

3.8 heads wont bolt onto a 2.8. Total different block desgin. We all thought you were talking a 95 3.4
A 1985 carb 2.8 is one of the weakest blocks to build on as well.

95 3.4 has steel heads. So if they are aluminum, please let us know where they came from.
Try to get the whole engine if you can.

They probably are cast iron, since there was no pushrod 3.4L in '95. The first year for the 3400 was '96 in the U-van.
That being said, there have been known to be some aluminium genI heads floating around, but are rare to find.
A link to said auction would help clear things up.
Also I wanted to state that because one might swap to a genIII top end does not mean you have to swap to SFI, I swapped to a genIII top end on my 2.8 block (stroked/bored 3.2L), and am using MPFI (batch fire). At this point you pretty much have to swap to DIS though, or build a custom intake or distributer.
