gas mileage

My car's been getting 18-19mpg since i got it and a couple tanks ago I put in fuel injector cleaner cuz I did...and that tank I managed to get 24mpg out of the thing. I did notice the car was running a little warmer than it usually does (Usually Im right below 200, after this stuff it was right above it) Yes I am **** and I do notice these minor things but is that ok? I know its nowhere near overheating or anything but I have enough little issues with the car I dont want to screw something else up by using the stuff again if it's gonna in the end royally screw the motor up. Cuz seriously, the motor is like the only major strong point the car has, everything else needs tweaking.

Anyways the car's back to 18mpg again and it is running rich, because of a bad wire somewhere between the coolant temp sensor and the ecm (Im lazy...its been raining forever...) but hell if I can get 24mpg while it running rich AND still haul *** on a steady basis that'd be nice!

I don't think your supposed to run that stuff every tank of gas, I think it's like every other oil change. Also my engine usually runs around 170ish I beleive when cruising around, granted it's 30 degrees farenheit outside...

yeah I made a boo boo (I had a couple drinks when I wrote that lol) I usually run in that middle mark between 100 and 220 so closer to 160ish. So everything I had said just pretend I said 160 instead of 200 lol.

Ah yes, rain. How are you enjoying the mudslides. I wish I was there for it.

Sounds like you need to rig up a tarp over it or something and fix that wire.

I'll probably run some injector cleaner through my car when I get home since I haven't done it in awhile. It will have been sitting for about 7months by then. Gotta get it back up to the 28mpg range.
