3.8L Pontiac Bonneville SSE engine swap?
I recently purchased a '92 Bonneville SSE with a 3.8L V-6 for $500. I have been considering swapping the 3.8L into my 2.8L equipped '89 RS. How difficult would this swap be and would it be worth the effort?

since its a fwd motor, its alot of work. If you would have gotten a 4thgen f-body with a 3.8, it would have been alot easier.

How different are the FWD and RWD 3.8s? I figured the tranny and accessories were the only differences.
EDIT: from reading other threads, it seems like this won't be very practical. I guess I'll just thrash the Bonneville for a while and use it for work so I can park the 'Maro for a while.

yea, quite a bit is different.
Just remember, the bonnies have larger brakes then the grand prixs, and same engines. So if/when you go to get rid of it or part it out, hit up the grand prix boards.
