3rd gen/s-10/fiero pulley question//pls help

i posted a few days ago looking for underdrive pulleys for earlier 2.8's with no replies,,,,,,,,,i am trying to figure out what year s-10's/fieros are compatible,,,,,,,,,,,,I am looking for a pulley for an 1986 2.8 ,,i found this company

question is which one do i get/what year fieros/s-10 have the same pulley as my 86,,,,,, thanks

I am quite sure the fiero pully is different, I got a wrong one from jet and it was found to be fiero.


s10/camaro do interchange.

Unless your going for bling bling factor, I would go with ASPracing.com and get one... I have had some bad CS with streatbeat before as well as jet.

cool thanks,,,,,,,so just to be sure,,,get the 85-86 truck pulley?,,,or the 87 and up,,,,,i know s-10s were a bit behind tech wise compared to the 3rd gens (ref no mpfi vs. tbi)

actually, is that car of yours a vbelt setup, or serp?

Actually, the TBI system is more torqy along with a different cam and thus the reason they used it in the trucks. Otherwise, as for as engine updates, wiring, elec speedo n all that, it kept up.

do believe most times this comes up, those who have done it say just do the crank pully and leave the rest alone.

guess the sticky needs to be updated ref underdrive pulley,,,,serp and pre serp pulleys so this doesnt come up again,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,whenever i get the pulley and put it on i'll update

Axle/Gears: so tall theres no point
My 2.8 has a serpentine belt and a v belt, i dont use the v belt but it there on the pulley. ??????????????????? of course it also only has the air injection on the driverside exh. manifold. so who knows?
