2.8 engine cast number
Good Day Everyone:
What are the differences between a 2.8 ..1984 long block, and 2.8 1985 long block, which is the better block... "84= Carb, 85= FI" and what issues are there, if putting a 85 reman LB in a 84 firebird, is it just a matter of swapping intakes... I have a choice of obtaining an 84, or 85 block and just wanted to get the most reliable one....
I am in need of a motor for my daughters Firebird. Any information would help.
